Instead of making furniture, I imagined a small room in the form of furniture.
It is a small room where you fall asleep or enjoy tea while feeling the soft lights and shadows filtered by the translucent PVC skin.
The intuitive form of the objet was inspired by Judd's daybed as a symbolic element, and the concept of separating the two units from the steel structure and cushion was inspired by traditional Korean daybed - Sal pyeongsang.

“Were it not for shadows, there would be no beauty.”  - Quotes from <In Praise of Shadows>, Jun'ichirō Tanizaki, 1933
